I like your chirps, and how you dropped some crabs in there (still practicing my own ๐ )! Try adding those same patterns to other phrases in the song, who knows what you may find! ๐คท๐ฟโโ๏ธโ๐ฟ

Thank you for the feed back ! Do you have any patterns you would recommend ? Like I said above, I can seem to pull off the cuts themselves - but not sure how to connect anything or create a nice flow ? Not sure if I should be focusing on combos or ? I try and practice just the basic cut itself, but pretty quickly moves into playing around "freestyling". Aimlessly
DJ Spoon
Most definitely! Something that helps me is practicing with instrumentals, by scratching/cutting to the beat as if Iโm โrappingโ a song (hope that makes sense). Basically, I scratch patterns to the verse, and then a a different one to the chorus. DJ Angelo has pretty helpful tutorial on YouTube with different types of scratches, Iโd encourage you to check it out.

Nice choice with the drake lyrics and I appreciate some of those patterns. Keep working on phrasing and you will create great things friend ๐

Hey !! Thanks for the feedback ! Wondering about this "phrasing" you are speaking of ? Is this like connecting patterns ? I seem to be able to actually do the basic cuts now, but connecting them / combos and everything are still out of reach. Dunno how to make it sound smooth and clean and flow ?
If you have any links for basic phrasing would be awesome !!! Thank you !!!

I walked away from the laptop and decided to practice more once I saw this. Good shit.
DJ Drew Cachet
hahaha thats AWESOME!!! Glad I inspired you! I guess you are learning as well? Keep up the good work!!! Realistically have only been really practicing for like 4 5 months, but 15 years of dj experience. Wondering when it becomes smooth and easy haha
